Just a couple I:U notes to pass along to bands-n-fans
This week we are PACKED with infotainment, Richard Way from The Maw (and about a billion other bands), North of Grand, Nate from Mumfords, & Frankie from Gas Lamp will all be on the show and we will be talking (amongst other things) St Pabst Day.
Speaking of St Pabst day, this will be the first place you can come meet and schmooze with your new local music guru on 105.1, Jared...he's our new host and he's itching to come meet and hang out with all of you local music fans and bands.
To make things easier on the transistion, if you could start doing the following for communiques & submissions to I:U -
- Continue to use the IowaUnsigned@NewRock1051.com email addy for correspondence
- When submitting music please make sure that you are sending high quality Mp3's or WAV files
- Send one or two songs that you want us to air
- MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLEAN/EDITED FOR RADIO PLAY
- Use IOWA UNSIGNED as the subject for all emails so they do not get missed
- Keep sending stuff in!!!! We love new music!!!
Keep an eye out in future weeks for a new Iowa Unsigned Twitter account as well as some new surprises from Jared as we get the ball rolling with your new host.
