Who's Gipper and where did she come from!?!
Well you have a LOUD, obnoxious, afternoon windbag named Tarbox to thank for the creation of, well, ME!
I'm just your friendly, everyday part time employee here at New Rock and lovin' every minute of it!
What is it, you may ask, that I do exactly? I listen to great music when I work, produce a few commercials for your listening pleasure, and laugh at Tarbox's jokes.
I'm excited to start blogging and letting you guys in on some great music, videos, my life with New Rock and any other wisdom that finds its way out of my brain.
These two together are magic! Yes, you may have seen this video before but honestly, does it ever get old?
Perhaps one of my favorite beginnings in a video.
Oddly enough another serious facial hair up close video. I bring to you 4onthefloor, a band based out of Minnesota that I can't get enough of!
We killed it today!! I don't know if it was the gorgeously hot day or what but I was on my game today and hitting the bag and going harder than I have in class before. It felt good, going strong right to the end. During my round house set, the instructor made the comment "man, there's alot of anger behind that kick." Nah, just prepare ninja strength!
My workout buddy, Brenda, and I are ready for tomorrow's resistance and weight training. Bring it on push ups!! Have to keep this momentum going!
On a musical note...
The Cold War Kids with Miracle Mile.
Hello All!! It's another week and the last two weeks of my 9 week session at Goals In Motion. There's still time to make a change, always room for improvement and that's what I plan to do. I want those results!! Time to get down to business!
I was missing my partner today but I managed to find an older gentlemen to be my partner and it was kind of cool to be doing the same weight and resistance bands as him and sometimes more. He may have been older but it was still pretty rewarding to be keeping up with a guy (you know who are suppose to be stronger). Dominated!
I'll have some good music for you all tomorrow to check out so stayed tuned!
Today felt really good! With the exception of my arm still being a little sore, but I managed to modify and hopefully made up for it in cardio. I found myself wanting to sprint when it came time to run the room, not a normal urge I tend to have. I managed to stay strong during grasshoppers and even some high knee sets. Just have to keep this intensity up, that's my goal! Like Rob Schneider says... "You can DO IT!"
